Game still on

Good Afternoon!  I have pretty much got caught up on my work so thought I would post a lil.  This week is going pretty good.  I walked Monday in the morning and afternoon.  I didn't get to walk Tuesday at all.  I was running late that morning and that night my "aunt" came to town and I was cramping so bad.  I didn't walk Wednesday morning either because my daughter had an early dentist appointment but I did walk last night.  Today is the same thing I didn't have to time to walk this morning but will walk tonight.  I have ate well.  Our fridge went out completely yesterday so we had to eat out last night,  Hubby and I had Subway while the kids had Arbys.  I always struggle when eating out.  I really don't think there are many options for eating healthy when eating out.  I always turn to Subway.  Although I was a little disappointed in myself.  I had a cookie.  Man I love those white chocolate and macadamia nuts..yummmmmm.  But hey I used to to eat three of those bad boys.  My body was screaming for something sweet all day.  I reisited tempation until then. I didn't feel guilty either just satisfied I got a cure for my sweet tooth.

Well Damn!

I had a really great weekend over all...but my eating..not so great!  I of course over did it in a big bad way.  Friday was my son's 6th birthday.  We went to celebrate by having dinner and a movie that night.  First went to Smash Burger and I got a grilled chicken with fries.  Not horrible but not really good either.  Then we went on over to the movies to watch Cars 2.  I had popcorn and coke.  UGH!  Okay saturday I started out healthy again with the grilled chicken.  We had a party for the birthday boy at Chuck E Cheese.  My boy had such a great time!  I ate pizza, ice cream and cake!  Another UGH! Yesterday we went and ate at O'Charly's.  Steak, baked potato, and salad. Did I mention I had another piece of cake?  Ugh Ugh Ugh!  Oh well I will do better.  My weekends are just so hard for me somehow.

I have read so many post froms different people how they keep a water bottle with them at all times.  Well I am gonna do that too! Went to Walmart last night and grabbed this one up.

Im getting ready to start on my third one of these babies.  So id say it is really helping me with my water intake.  For some reason I don't like to drink water out of a glass.  I'm weird I guess.  I walked a mile this moring before I went to work. I'm hoping to do that again this evening if weather permits.  My hubby said he will help me with our free weights.

I bought a new scale last night and got on it this morning.  Well those 13 pounds I thought I lost...nope.  It was a lie all a lie.  My last scale that gave out on me lied to me.  Damn you scale.  However I have lost 5 since I started two weeks ago so I will take that and be happy about it.

Half way through my second week...

Well I'm on day ten of my new weight loss journey.  I feel good.  I have not posted if I lost any weight or not because...I don't know!!  I got on my scale on Sunday.  It weighed a lot less and I knew it wasn't right so I got right back on it.  Jumped around each time I got on it.  I had my kids get on it and it did the same thing.  I put it on different spots on the floor...I took it downstairs...I changed the batteries nothing worked the numbers just kept being very inconsistent.  So I tossed it.  I am getting a new one Friday since I wont have the extra money until then.  So I guess I will wait until this Sunday.  Hopefully I will have a good weight loss since it will be two weeks. 

Lets see....I did really well over the weekend.  Weekends tend to be hard for me.  I did overindulge on Sunday.  I made great breakfast for my family for fathers day, took hubby and the kids for ice cream, and we had pizza too.  So not the best day for me. But I got right back on that horse on Monday morning. Monday morning and this morning I walked.  Today I noticed it took me less time and I walked a little further.  So working my way up.  My son and I attempted to walk last night but it poured we waited a minute and went when it stopped.  Then it started to thunder so we had to walk around our little block and take ourselves back home.  (*Cute* I asked my son if he was scared because it was thundering he said "no just frustrated" I say why are you frustrated? He says "cause of this weather" he's five)  Hopefully I can walk tonight after dinner but it's supposed to rain all evening..we will see.  I get really frustrated when I don't get some sort of exercise in.  I feel kinda like I have failed and what it the point in eating good if I am not going to work anything off.  I know that's the wrong way of thinking but sometimes I just can't help but think that way.  So rain rain go away!

Taco Bell and Grocery Shopping

Yesterday I did good on my eating..but for dinner I had Taco Bell.  Just didn't feel like cooking plus I didn't have a thing thawed out to cook.  I ate two soft taco 400 calories and an order of pintos and cheese 170 calories.  So that is 570.  Not really all that bad for a taco bell meal. After eating I got the kids settled playing games on the computer and left them with my husband and went walking.  It was about 85 yesterday so pretty hot.  I walked my thirty mins and really could feel the extra weight I have put on the last couple of years.  When I lost my weight before I could walk so much more without being so winded.  I just keep telling myself the longer I do this the better I will feel and the longer I will walk. 

After that walk it was about 8:00.  I rested for a few minutes and then my daughter and I went to the grocery store.  I hate going to the grocery store. HATE IT.  I can not stress that enough.  And I didnt have to get just a few things I had to get everything.  I was in there for almost two hours and spent 252.00.  So I think all that walking around the grocery store counts as exercise. 

Gotta go for now guess I better do some work.  I usually don't get online on the weekends but I might.  If not I will post if I lost any weight or not on Monday.  Lets keep our fingers crossed!

Get it in...when you can fit it in

Last night was as busy as any night but I got my walk on!! YAY!  Hubby watched the kids and cleaned the kitchen while I went on my 30 minute walk.  He is great! We live off a street that goes in a complete circle so I walked all the way around that circle and then around my little neighborhood.  I am surprised it didn't take longer.  I am still not where I want to be with the exercise but I am getting there.  However I am eating much more healthy.  I cut out all of my crap.  I also drink water throughout the day and have a Coke Zero for dinner.  That is probably the hardest thing for me.  My Mountain Dew intake was insane.  I love that crap!  But I love myself more ;)

Any of you that look at my blog that picture that is first thing on my page...just to clarify that is not me now.  That picture was probably in 2004 BEFORE my kids.  YUCK!  I don't even know how much I weigh there, and I was eating! WOW! 

I feel good about myself right now and hopefully I can keep up the good work, and I hope the scale shows on Sunday.  I only weigh myself once a week when I first get out of bed.  I take off all my clothes and go to the bathroom before I weigh to make sure its accurate. 

I just saw my husband, on his way to job #2.  He tells me he will walk with me tonight.  We will see.  He is supportive and tries to walk with me but I know he is tired from work.  He works at my company and he works at UPS.  That is a very physical job so I can't blame him if he doesn't want to walk.  But I will be walking!

Time, can I buy some?

UGHHHHH! I feel like I never have enough time.  With a full time job, kids and a husband it is so hard to find time to take care of everything.  Really my day goes like this, wake up, get the kids ready, myself ready, get the kids to the sitter, me to work, pick the kids up, go home, cook dinner for the family, clean up dinner (hubby does that a lot), baths, bedtime.  Not to mention laundry, straightening up the house, grocery shop, ect ect ect.  I need to fit in exersise somewhere in my days I have to.  Just not sure how. I walked the other day. Hubby and I took the kids to the park and he sat with them while I walked then I sat with them while he walked and so on.  That is not my ideal way of doing things.  I have a YMCA membership but hate driving all the way back across town to use it.  I guess I will figure it out someday.  I know there is a way to make this easier on myself I just have to find it.

Progress? I think so!

Hello bloggers here for an update.  Its been a couple of weeks since I updated.  I have had so much going on, Im telling ya I never lead a boring life.  A couple of weeks ago I had a horrible toothache ugh I hate going to the dentist.  I was in agony to say the least but being my stubborn self I let it continue thinking it will go away.  Then on Memorial Day I pulled my back out!  With all of that tooth pain and back pain I didn't sleep at all that night. :(   That next day I went to the dentist and had that awful back tooth out!  AHHHHHH relief! But my back still bothered me for a few more days.  Well I didn't get to exersise and I didnt really eat all that great but in that last 2 and half weeks I have managed to lose 13 lbs!!!!  Not really sure how I did that but I'm not asking any questions.  I am just going to take that weight loss and run with it.  Yesterday I started great.  I had healthy meals all day long, drank my water and even went to the track and walked.  I feel good about myself tody!  Today I have not eaten much because I had to take my little girl to the doctor an itchy rash that poped up over night.  But I am about to eat my lunch and it will be healthy.  I feel good about this this go round.  Hopefully I can stay on the right track!  Well Im gonna run and be back soon!
