Weigh in
When I weighed in Saturday I only lost 1.6.....I am very disappointed in that number. I counted calories..I worked out. Damn. Well I am taking some advice from a fellow blogger and gonna cut out even more calories. Perhaps that will help. I am also going to try to fit in longer workouts. My goal was to lose 42 pounds by my birthday. Since Saturday is my birthday I have to lose 5 freakin pounds. We will see.

I did the same as you and stood still.. Sometimes the scale doesn't reflect the effort you put in, sadly. :/
ReplyDeleteI don't think 1.6 lbs is anything to turn your nose up at, though I DO understand your frustration.
ReplyDeleteEven if you don't get to goal, you have worked your ass off, literally. Take comfort in that!

ReplyDeleteHow can you not be happy with that loss? Don't cut too much or you will end up gaining or not losing at all! Your body needs fuel. Remember you didn't get fat over night the weight isn't going to come off over night!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your 5 lbs. that you're trying to lose, and congrats on the 1.6 lb. loss! :) They say sometimes it takes a week for our body to reflect the hard work we put in... Stay positive, even if the scale doesn't say what you are hoping for.

ReplyDeleteRemember, success comes in how your clothes fit, the bounce in your step and how you feel. That isn't always reflected on that stupid scale! Be well. Be strong and determined!
